Are you the same Sonia Gore mentioned in the Parikrama Album credits? Does Wide Aware have music related affiliations?

Yes. Sonia is Vidyut's nickname, and Gore is her maiden surname.

The Parikrama team was shooting for their album "but it rained" when she was living in Manali. This is long before Wide Aware was created. She doesn't know them very well, but Nitin Gupta knew them, and they visited the shoot. She doesn't remember doing anything outstanding that would make her deserve mention in their credits, but we suspect she discounts her hospitable nature. "We were o­nly friendly, like we were with all friends who visited us in Manali. I am honoured that they remembered me even. I feel good to know that we registered somewhere in their experience."

However, this does not mean that Wide Aware has any contact with them. She hasn't met them since, and please, while we love their work, Wide Aware has no relevance in the world of music or any capacity to provide introductions, tickets or presence of stars from the music world o­n our programmes. Please don't think that we are acting like snobs, we honestly don't know them that well, and they certainly have never heard of Wide Aware.
