Raka is a well known name among the adventurers in and around Mumbai. Tough, resourceful and lively, he has contributed to the success of many climbs, training camps and management development programmes.

He has, of course completed his basic and advanced mountaineering courses, which are pretty much standard qualifications for outdoor resource persons. He is well versed with safety, rescue and first-aid techniques and assists in conducting training programmes for the same.

Apart from this, he has spent a good 10 years working o­n Corporate Management Development Programmes, Himalayan Treks and countless rock climbing expeditions in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra.

A true rough and tough soul, his presence itself is a stimulation for participants to apply themselves without inhibition.

Raka has also been a national level coach for Mallakhamb, swimming and volley-ball. He is an avid traveller and often combines work and pleasure by coming to scenic programme locations o­n his trusted motorcycle.

Raka handles the field o­n adventure activities and provides outdoor support o­n programmes based o­n Experiential learning . He also manages Himalayan Tours and the development of adventure facilities for Wide Aware .
