Residential programmes for students
Camps and other residential programmes for students are organised with a view to giving students an experience of managing their daily routines independently, exploring various subjects on their own initiative and gaining self confidence.
Locations typically involve rural areas, wilderness and historical and archaeological sites. Accommodation may be in dormitories, rooms on a sharing basis, tents or even caves depending on the location and purpose of the programme.
The chief kinds of camps we conduct for students are:
- Wilderness camps involve nature study, and skills for living in the outdoors
- Adventure camps focus on basic training in adventure sports
- Experiential learning camps help in the development of personal and interpersonal skills and qualities like leadership and team working.
- Study camps are for a variety of purposes that can help their understanding of specific areas of the syllabus in school
